Carry the Required Kit
- Warning triangle: Required. Listed by Your Europe; we could not confirm it in Dutch law.
Required: an official source lists it. Wear it: anyone who gets out on the road must wear one. Required*: only non-official sources list it. Every country side by side: required kit by country.

On the motorway. Park close to the barrier and get everyone behind it. Give the road, the hectometre post and the side of the road. Rijkswaterstaat: 0800-8002.
After an accident. Call 112 if anyone is hurt. Fill in the European Accident Statement with the other driver.
