Tolls in Sweden 2026: Stockholm, Gothenburg and Three Bridges
Verdict
Nothing to buy: Sweden's congestion tax and bridge charges read your plate and send the bill abroad.
A company called Epass24 finds the owner through the home country's register; the owner pays, whoever was driving.
There is no vignette and no booth on Swedish roads. Drive into Stockholm or Gothenburg on a weekday and the camera charges each passage.
The bill comes later, by post, to the car's owner.
Expect a Bill for Stockholm and Gothenburg
